How to reach Duka Valley
Duka Valley is situated in Kagay Khasmahal and three main roads connect to it.
1) First, if you want to test your 4×4 vehicle or ride an off-road bike, take the route from Kagay(Gerock). It is an adventurous ride because workers are still constructing the road, which means you will ride on a bumpy trail.
2) Second, the alternative road starts from Algarah, where you can turn right directly from NH 717A.
3) Finally the recommended route connects from the 22nd mile on the Pedong- Algarah road. In fact, this scenic drive allows you to experience authentic village lifestyle while navigating spectacular twists and turns.
Exploring Duka Falls
After half an hour ride you will find a beautiful Duka Fall. Although It is a seasonal waterfall it has four tiers, visitors can only see two steps immediately since dense forest hides the rest. From road you will see one step but when you step forward and walk till Shivalaya
Temple then the two step fall is visible. On the middle of the forest the falls separate two Khasmahal, Kagay Khasmahal and Tandrabong Khasmahal. Nearby this falls there is a small park where you can feel the green environment just sit back and enjoy the peaceful view with bird chirping and the sound of rolling water from rocks and its a best place for bird watching. There is also a small restaurant where you can get organic fresh momo Thukpa, Tea and Coffee and more. After visiting this fall take a same road toward Duka Valley its just 10 mins of ride from this fall, don’t skip this place many tourist driver ignore this place.

What to See in Duka Valley
Duka Valley is located in the middle of the hills one side is pedong other side is kagay and in the front is Rhenock (East Sikkim) The view is just amazing where ever you turn you see a green hills filled with settlements. the view from Duka school is breathtaking.
Moreover, locals have built several seating spots and photo props for visitors. If you visit on a clear day, you will get a panaromic view of Mt Kanchenjunga. Overall, This hidden gem will surely amaze you.
